Coles Bay is a suburb of Tasmania, Tasmania and is
about 115 kms northeast of TAS's capital city of
Hobart. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Coles Bay was 305 when there were
140 Females and 165 Males living there. The
median age for people living in Coles Bay was 48.
Coles Bay is an Australian town on the east Coast
of Tasmania 209 km south-east of Launceston,
being the main entrance point for visitors to the
Freycinet National Park. Coles Bay is on the
northern end of Great Oyster Bay with stunning
views of the red and pink granite peaks known as
The Hazards, on the Freycinet Peninsula. It is in the
area of the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council.
